West Virginia offers nothing

To the Editor,

What is it with this state when it concerns senior citizens?

They have no programs for us. For transportation to doctor visits, it’s only if you have a doctor in Weirton.

I go to doctors in Ohio and they have great opportunities for people living in Ohio. I was born in this state and it’s nothing to brag about, and Florida is another state that takes excellent care of their seniors.

This state is always complaining about how poor it is, but yet we have to pay taxes on our cars and our utilities are high and rent.

I should have stayed in Ohio. At least I’d have transportation to the doctors.

If you want any kind of help, you are better off moving to Ohio.
