Let’s clean up these acts

1 min read

To the editor:

There always is a way to poison the public's mind with today's technology. The powers that be have made it legal to defend any objectionable words, thoughts or ideas as freedom of speech.

How objectionable is former President Donald J. Trump? A misrepresentation of a scheme in real time which is a lie should be reported as a lie and should not be defended as the truth.

It's been difficult to convince the powers that be to voluntarily get rid of objectionable speech. Using I-gotcha news bits to trick someone or expose them to ridicule isn't free if a person uses it with malice toward another.

All it would take is a little bit of class and a little bit of talent for the networks to clean up their acts.
