To the Editor,
Okay folks, Ye Old Groundhog gave us six more weeks of the white stuff, let alone the previous ice storm. A special thanks goes out to the electrical linesmen that brought back our power.
Now, what's in store for spring that is right around the corner?
1. The green stuff that we call grass will magically appear.
2. That college basketball thing call March Madness will start soon.
3. Major League Baseball will start spring training in Florida and Arizona.
4. The Easter Bunny can't wait to hide those mysterious eggs.
5. Outside flowers will start to bloom.
6. Gardeners and farmers will tend to their plants and crops.
7. High School and Grade School will prepare for spring.
8. Household chores. Cleaning those windows will definitely be a first to do.
8. Hardware and home improvement stores will have an abundance of lawn and garden needs.
9. Neighborhood kids will playing baseball.
10.The snow blowers a and snow shovels can now be placed in the garage…until the next time that white stuff returns.
Yes folks, let's enjoy the warmer weather when it arrives. And let's say goodbye to Frosty The Snowman.
