To the Editor,
I have often wondered why God does His things on a daily basis. He brings life, and he takes life. So I decided to ask Him about what has happened in my life.
I was invited to a local church where the Pastor, and local ministers were gathered in a meeting room. Amongst them was Jesus.
As we sat and had a spaghetti dinner that included bread and wine, I asked Jesus this question: "Why do you do the things that you do?" Jesus replied: "I do things that my father sees fit. I do things that may not be pleasing to you."
Then I asked: "Jesus, why is it that way? I don't understand." Jesus again spoke: "There will come some times in our lives that everything is not a bed of roses. Lost jobs, tragic situations, and unforeseen happenings. And as for anyone who has lost someone near to them, they have served their purpose here on earth. Now, as we speak, they serve Me and my Father in Heaven."
After Jesus explained to me about some of my doubts, I then asked this question: "In these times, what does one do?" Jesus again replied: "What you do is your own will. You think of good. You think of good. You think of everything that troubles you. But balance and weigh out those troubles with the good."
Jesus goes on speaking. "And always remember, good is stronger than bad. Be good to others as you wish they will be good to you."
I replied: "Thank you, Jesus, for just being here. And being just You. I do feel better now that you answered my doubts."
"That's what I am here for, my Son."
Amen to that.
