To the Editor,
Okay folks. Our English language is a simple one. But sometimes complicated. For example, we use the saying Ain't Got No. Hmmm. I have nothing would be more effective.
Let's discuss further. In different parts of the country, our language differs in sound…and sayings. In nearby Pittsburgh, you can order a jumbo sandwich, an arn birr on the sath side. And let's not forget. The Gian Giggle is not too far away.
Jumbo is a bologna, or baloney sandwich.
Arn is Iron City beer. Sath side is South Side. And there is Giant Eagle.
For directions, there is the following.
Go past that white down yonder, hang a right.
Then go down to the crick in the holler. That shack is next to the still. Oh MapQuest…help me.
More sayings to think about.
Far Fetched. Something to do with a dog retrieving his play toy.
Happy Camper. Never met a sad camper.
Gotta Go. Hmmm. This could mean multiple things.
I'm Leaving Now. You're going…where?
Stop Here On Red. Blushing on your first blind date.
You're Gonna Regret This. This is depending on what the situation is.
Is It Real. It could be unreal.
It's Just My Imagination. Okay. You're daydreaming about that new sportscar.
Take It For A Test Drive. If you pass this test, that sportscar might be yours.
That's A Best Buy. Never had a bad buy. Unless you exchange your Christmas gifts..for something else.
Oh, the list could go on endlessly.
But anyways, y'all have a good one maties.
I think that previous sentence means enjoy your day.
Ah. The English language.
