To the Editor,
After a couple of phone calls and being told we will get right on it, at least 10 street lights are out and I cannot understand nobody fixes them.
Get rid of the 50-year-old lamp covers that are a filthy mess from the milll. Three are out on the overhead bridge leading downtown and another three are out in front of the mill heading into the gate to the tin mill. There are two out entering the downtown area plus another down by the center.
The Cove Road area in front of our city building headed towards the railroad tracks is a joke. It's never been repaired properly. Why are these overlooked all the time?
Please someone get these things fixed before someone gets seriously hurt.
