On June 3, the Brooke-Hancock American Cancer Society Relay For Life will take place at Wellsburg's Central Park (18th and Charles Streets) beginning at 6 p.m.
This wonderful and helpful fundraising event is chaired by Tammy Hornick and Dellla Serevicz.
You can met these ladies at the relay selling luminarias. You can purchase one to honor your loved ones.
These luminarias will line the walk and will shine on for the the hope and cure for cancer.
Relay for life needs you, the community to come out and support the walk. Perhaps you can walk with survivors to celebrate life.
Come to this event, be a cheerleader and encourage cancer survivors as they do the first lap.
Come to this event, and watch the caregivers of cancer patients as they walk a lap for their cancer patients. Please cheer, thank, and support them.
American Cancer Society's mission statement is "Save Lives, celebrate lives, and lend a fight for a world without cancer."
