To the Editor,
There's no evidence against Donald Trump in the E. Jean Carroll case? Really?
How about the "Access Hollywood" tape? A playbook for Trump's predatory behavior.
Trump: "I am automatically attracted to beautiful (women.) I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss -- I don't even wait. And when you are a star, they let you do it. You can do anything -- grab them by the ***. You can do anything." (Wikipedia, "Access Hollywood" tape.)
Powerful, painful evidence -- the method of operation of a rapist.
Carroll testified that Trump overpowered her. She was terrified, trying to free herself. He threw her up against the dressing room wall, pinning her, and plastered her face with slobber and then took a deep dive into her pantyhose and sexually assaulted her (which is considered rape in New York.) Sound familiar? Evidence.
Need more evidence? She told two girlfriends who said they had -- surprise -- also been similarly attacked by Trump. "Do not go to the police, he will ruin you," they told her. She kept quiet until the #meToo moment when she stood up and spoke her truth.
"She's a liar. She's not my type," Trump said. All that flew out the window when, during his deposition, he was asked to identify persons in a photograph. Trump identified Carroll as being his second wife, Marla Maples. So much for the "She's not my type" excuses.
Most inexplicably, Trump was vacationing in Ireland during his assault trial. At the end of the trial, Trump was all over the news bellyaching he was leaving Ireland to fly to New York to set the matter straight and tell the truth. Did he show? No.
The first jury in the civil case awarded her $5 million for sexual assault, and the second trial awarded here $83 million for defamation. The slanderer should have kept his big mouth shut.
I'm tired of the crybaby's lies -- "I'm a victim." Remember these words: Thief, thug, con, liar, grifter, fraudster, rapists, insurrectionist, wannabee dictator, destroyer of lives. This is reality, not misinformation. Please go ahead and fact-check. Believe the lies, or check the facts.
Democracy or tyranny are your voting choices. Trump will "Only be a dictator for a day." If you believe that one, chaos, obliteration of a woman's right to bodily autonomy, destruction of government as we know it and a dictator for life will be your gift to your children, grandchildren and future kin.
