Okay folks. A few years ago, I addressed a letter to this paper about the traffic light that was removed from the Cove Road/East Street intersection. Unknown to all of us on why it was taken out.
The only reason that I feel is that the state had it removed. Why I don't know. Just like the traffic lights that were removed by the state, we need to establish some kind of stability to control your traffic.
Yes, control the traffic. Try getting out of the Community Center on Friday, or crossing Cove Road from East Street. Good luck trying to peek around the Event Center mound. Unless there is a petition signed, with a large number of signatures, this will never come to fruition. And the musical chairs of going through this intersection, will continually exist.
