To the Editor,

I would like to take the time to recognize the City of Weirton and all of those in the transportation department who were involved in improving our city with the recent paving of several city streets. Especially the main connection road on Weirton Heights of Penco Road just to name a few. It may have caused the necessary slight delay in traffic and in some cases re-routing but the outcome supersedes and slight inconvenience for those who are now enjoying our smoother commute. I just would like to make sure to let them know we do appreciate the beautiful work and dedication behind the completion of their work.

I would like to add the fabulous job that was done at the Harmon Creek Northern Panhandle Trail where we recently held a Childhood Cancer walk on the trail. The pavement makes walking a lot easier and bike riding mush smoother. It all takes time and money and patience to get everything completed to everyone’s satisfaction.
