Madonna High School has been educating young men and women of Weirton and surrounding communities since 1955. Recently, Madonna partnered with the two Catholic elementary schools in Weirton, St. Joseph the Worker School and St. Paul School to market themselves as the "Catholic Schools of Weirton."
This effort includes a commercial and digital marketing campaign that kicked off in February. Also, the schools have been making a concerted effort to have multiple visits with each other throughout the year.
This Thursday, March 21st, the eighth graders from both St. Joe's and St. Paul's will be enjoying their annual visit to Madonna. Those students will be assigned to small groups with Madonna student-leaders serving as hosts. The eighth graders will be immersed into a day as a Blue Don including praying together, having a Q & A session with students and faculty, and some fun activities to round out the day.
Once the eighth graders return to their schools, the faculty and staff of Madonna High School will transition to putting the final touches on an Open House that will take place from 6-8PM. Families with students in any grade are invited, encouraged, and welcome to take a tour, speak with faculty, staff, and coaches, and learn more about the academic, athletic programs, co/extra curricular opportunities at Madonna. Find out why at Madonna we are Followers of CHRIST…Leaders in the WORLD!
