The Brooke eighth grade boys basketball team won the Burgettstown Basketball tournament on Saturday for the second year in a row. The Bruins were 4-0 in the tournament and defeated Fort Cherry, 32-20, to clinch the championship. Members of the team are Nick Cipoletti, Jace Campinelli, Nick Sagan, Gavin Hastings, Mason Rees, Owen Petrella, Garrett Hornick, Braelyn Sperringer. Carson Lauttamus also is a member of the team, which is coached by Kirk Furioli and Joe Campinelli.
