Zion Sawyer led Big Red (1-1) with 13 points. Andrew Gresko tallied eight points, and Brenton Jones added seven.
For the Cardinals, Mick Hergenrother scored a game-high 22 points.
Big Red, for now, travels to Minerva next Tuesday.
