TIFFIN -- Jefferson County Teramana Post 33 competed in the Tiffin College Classic over the weekend, posting a record of 1-2.
On the opening day, Post 33 edged Wayne County Post 68 in the Tiffin College Classic tournament opener on Friday afternoon, 6-5.
After opening a 4-1 lead, Jefferson County fell behind, 5-4, in the bottom of the sixth, but came back to plate a pair in the top half of the seventh to pull back ahead, then hung on in the bottom half.
Big Red grad J.T. Thompson got the win on the mound in relief, while Creek grad Aiden Fernandez fanned five after starting and going the first three innings.
Big Red's Hakim Edwards finished with three RBIs in the game, while Thompson had a double.
Creek's Ty Householder and Harrison Central's Kaden Jurosko each had an RBI.
In game two on Friday, Jefferson County fell in a close game, 3-1, the Napoleon Post 300 River Bandits.
Napoleon scored twice in the fourth to break a scoreless tie, then both teams plated a run in the fifth.
Big Red's Cooper Blackburn and Edwards each had a hit, while Edison's Matt Parsons drove in the lone Jefferson County run with a hit.
Hunter Rothacker went the distance on the mound and fanned four.
Post 33's run in the tournament ended with a 10-9 loss to Sandusky Post 83.
After Jefferson County opened a 6-2 lead through two innings and led 9-3 going to the bottom of the seventh, Sandusky came storming back and plated seven runs to win on a walk-off.
For Post 33, Parsons had a single, double and two RBIs, Blackburn had two doubles and three RBIs, Edison's Gage Cline had double and two RBIs, Creek's Landon Pownall had an RBI and Thompson had a double and a triple.
Jurosko fanned five in getting the start.
Jefferson County is now 9-5 on the season.
Post 33 returns home on Tuesday to host Morgantown at the Edison Unified Sports Complex.
