RICHMOND -- The Big Red girls soccer team topped Edison on the road on Monday, 12-0, to improve to 5-3.
Bailee Beall had three goals and two assists, Maleea Crownover had two goals and one assists and Hailey Neeley had two goals to lead the scoring for Steubenville.
Marlent Torres had a goal and an assist, while Melia Newburn, Taylor Moss and Isabella Fletcher each also scored a goal.
Big Red is back in action at Brooke on Thursday.
Edison falls to East Liverpool
EAST LIVERPOOL -- The Edison volleyball team fell on the road at East Liverpool on Monday night in three sets.
The Potters prevailed by scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-17.
For the Wildcats, Alexandra Ash had four points, an ace, five kills and four blocks, Olivia Hugg added six kills and three blocks, Katie Fluharty finished with two kills and five blocks, Ali Shrieve had two kills and three blocks, Rebecka Evans tallied six points, an ace, two kills and 11 assists, Haley Teichman had three points and nine assists, Kendra Teichman had six digs and two points, Audrey Scott racked up 16 digs and two points and Morgan Martin had six digs.
Edison hosts St. Clairsville on Wednesday night.
