EAST LIVERPOOL -- The Edison volleyball team's bid for an OVAC title ended Tuesday with a loss in the semifinals to top-seeded East Liverpool.
The Potters, who advance to Saturday's title match at Union Local High School, won 25-21, 25-21, 25-12.
Edison's efforts were led by Alexandra Ash with 11 kills, nine points, a dig and a block, Olvia Huff with 10 kills and a block, Rebecka Evans with 24 assists, four kills, four points, two digs and an ace, Meghan Maxwell with six kills, a block, two digs, two points and an ace, Hailey Teichman with six digs, two kills and three assists and Audrey Scott with six digs and four points.
The Wildcats are back in action Thursday at home, hosting Claymont in a regular season match.
