CHARLESTON -- The Oak Glen volleyball team had no answer for Philip Barbour this season.
The Colts eliminated the Golden Bears with a 25-19, 25-22, 25-22 win in the West Virginia Class AA state semifinals on Wednesday at the Charleston Coliseum and Civic Center.
Philip Barbour improves to 55-3-1 on the season. The Colts also beat Oak Glen 25-19, 25-19 on Sept. 3.
Oak Glen defeated Liberty (Harrison) 25-15, 21-25, 25-17, 25-18 in the quarterfinal on Wednesday afternoon.
Philip Barbour, the No. 2 seed, will play No. 1 seed Shady Spring in the final at 3 p.m. today.
The Colts also met Shady Spring in the final last season and won in five sets.
Oak Glen (30-8-1) has been eliminated in the semifinal three consecutive seasons. The Golden Bears last won the state title in 2019.
