Big Red, Weir top the 38th Early Bird

STEUBENVILLE -- The track and field season kicked off on Saturday with the 38th annual Early Bird Invite at the Harding Stadium track complex.
Host Big Red won the overall girls team title, while Weir High's boys team took the top spot on the other side.
The girls' podium was rounded out by Catholic Central and Weir High.
On the boys side, Glenville and Big Red also finished on the podium.
Individually, Big Red's Sabria Jones topped the high-point standings in front of Buckeye Local's Pam Kandrach and Steubenville teammate Nylah McShan.
Glenville's Bryce West won overall high-point title on the boys' side, topping Big Red's Micah Mitchell and Weir High's Josh Duffy.
