Start times changed
A pair of West Virginia sectional final baseball games set for Saturday had their scheduled start times changed due to the weather forecast.
In Class A, Madonna's Region 1, Section 1 final game against Wheeling Central was pushed to 4 p.m. at Edwin J. Bowman Field.
Wheeling Central upset top-seed Cameron on Friday to reach the final. The Maroon Knights needed two wins over Madonna to advance. If the second game is required, it will be played at 5:30 p.m. Monday, also at Bowman Field.
In Class AA, Oak Glen's Region 1, Section 1 Final against East Fairmont was also given a 4 p.m. start time.
East Fairmont topped top-seed Fairmont Senior to reach the final. The Bees required two wins over the Golden Bears to advance.
If a second game is needed, it would be played Monday at East Fairmont.
