BERKELEY SPRINGS -- The Oak Glen football team got its first win of the season on Saturday afternoon, going on the road and topping Berkeley Springs in dominant fashion, 42-0.
The Golden Bears, now 1-4, opened the scoring with a 97-yard kickoff return by Logan Murray and did not look back.
Anthony Burt had a 6-yard scoring run, Aiden Flowers scored on a 21-yard run, Ethan Haenke found the endzone on a 34-yard run, the Golden Bears had a defensive TD and Devan Jusczak capped the scoring on a 31-yard run.
Oak Glen led 16-0 at halftime and tacked on 26 second half points. They out-gained the hosts 283-50 as the defense pitched the shutout.
Flowers led the offense with 116 yards on 14 carries, Burt had 93 yards on 21 carries, Haenke racked up 58 yards on just five carries and Jusczak's TD was his lone rush.
All of the Oak Glen offense came on the ground.
