The Ohio School High School Athletic Association released the final high school football computer rankings and made official the first round playoff match ups on Sunday.
Five local teams qualified for the Ohio playoffs, with three of them finishing high enough in the standings to play at home when the playoffs open on Friday night.
In Division IV, Steubenville Big Red earned the No. 1 seed in Region 15 and will host No. 16 Carrollton on Friday night at Harding Stadium.
Big Red, making its 23rd-consecutive playoff appearance, is 9-1, while the Warriors bring a 6-4 record to Harding Stadium.
In Division V, two local teams made the playoff field in Region 17.
Harrison Central, thanks to winning its final four games of the regular season, earned the No. 4 seed and will host No. 13 seed Triway on Friday night at Wagner Field.
The Huskies are 8-2 and Triway is 5-5.
In the same region, Edison finished at No. 10 and will travel to face No. 7 West Lafayette Ridgewood. Both teams are 7-3.
In Division VII, Toronto, thanks to its big win over Catholic Central on Friday night, finished at No. 4 in Region 25 and will host Norwalk St. Paul Friday night at Clarke Hinkle Stadium.
The Red Knights won seven-straight to close the regular season at 9-1, while St. Paul has won three-straight and is 6-4.
Catholic Central, meanwhile, finished as the No. 11 seed and will travel to No. 6 seed Lowellville. Both teams finished the regular season with 9-1 marks.
