Panthers top the Huskies in four for their third-straight win
CONNORVILLE -- The Buckeye Local volleyball team won its third-straight match, topping rival Harrison Central in four sets on Wednesday evening.
The Panthers won the match, 25-23, 18-25, 25-22, 25-23.
Shayleigh Hornyak tallied six points, an ace, 32 attacks, 13 kills, five blocks, three assists and four digs, Madison Roset recorded 12 points, three aces and 17 attacks, Pam Kandrach tallied seven points, 18 attacks, four kills, two assists and four digs, Avah Williams recorded nine points, three kills and eight digs and Tatum Walker finished with eight points, 14 attacks, two kills and three digs.
For the Huskies, Lauren Doane recorded 17 kills, 17 points and two blocks, Olivia Tonkovoch recorded 16 assists and Kennedy Dunlap recorded 13 digs.
Creek falls to EL
WINTERSVILLE -- The Indian Creek volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to East Liverpool on 'Wednesday, 18-25, 25-16, 19-25, 19-25.
Reese Scott tallied 35 assists, seven aces and 14 digs. Tori Robertson finished with 16 kills, two aces and 18 digs, Kylie Anderson recorded four kills and 13 digs, Cara Vandebrone recorded four blocks and six kills and Camryn Ketron finished with 14 kills and 14 digs.
