Four Bruins reach double digits in win

NEW MANCHESTER -- The Brooke boys basketball team put four players in double digits in topping Oak Glen 79-62 on Friday night on the road.

Garrett Milam led the Bruins with 29 points, while Leyton Toepfer netted a double-double with 22 points and 13 assists and Nick Cipoletti and Nate Kimball each netted 12 points.

Gage Yosts pulled down 11 rebounds for the now 2-1 Bruins.

Panthers fall to Marietta

CONNORVILLE -- Unbeaten Marietta stormed out to a 21-pointlead after the first quarter and never looked back in topping Buckeye Local Friday night, 70-26.

Owen Riley led the Tigers with 16 points. Trey Dunn's 11 points paced the Panthers, while Gavyn Romanyak added seven in the loss.

Huskies fall to Beaver

CADIZ -- Harrison Central placed three girls in double figures, but it wasn't enough as Beaver Local stormed back with 14 points in the fourth quarter to overtake the Huskies, 57-52.

Danica Rensi led the Huskies with 15 points, followed closely by Angi Ferri with14 and Kennedy Dunlap with 11.

Peyton Roberts paced the Beavers with a game-high 26 points.

Brooke bowlers fall

WELLSBURG -- The Brooke bowling team dropped a 2,098-1,909 decision to Wellsville on Friday.

Dawson Paugh had the individual high for the Bruins with a 198, while Daktoa McMillan had a 338 series.
