RICHMOND -- The Edison girls basketball team got its second home win over Brooke in a little over a week, topping the Bruins on senior night 56-32.
The Wildcats also won last week's meeting in the OVAC tournament consolation pool.
The Wildcats were led by a balanced attack with Abigail Boka netting 13 points, Rebecka Evans 12, Sophia Henderson 10 points and Pressly Meadows tallying nine.
The Wildcats recognized their seniors, Meadows, Evans and Loprete, prior to the game.
The game was also Edison's regular season finale as the Wildcats finish 13-9 and are idle until visiting Buckeye Local in the sectional tournament on Feb. 21.
Creek tops JM
GLEN DALE -- The Indian Creek girls basketball team closed its regular season in style, topping John Marshall on the road 63-53 to get win No. 18 on the season.
The Redskins had three players reach double figures to lead the way to victory.
They were McKenna Scott with 19 points, Kylie Anderson with 12 and Rylee Sadler with 10.
JM's Kayli Derrow had a game-high 29.
Creek opens tournament action hosting Cambridge in sectionals on Feb. 21.
