WINTERSVILLE -- There are a few situations every coach hopes to see their team perform well in -- senior night, a rivalry and bouncing back from a tough loss.

Indian Creek head volleyball coach Crystal Hammack got all three from her team Tuesday night.

The Redskins, on the night they honored their five seniors and were trying to bounce back from a loss to Weir High the night before, swept visiting rival Edison on Coach D Court, 25-16, 25-10, 25-9.

"It was good to see the girls come out and do what they were supposed to do," Hammack said. "It's a good bounce back performance.

"It's a friendly rivalry, we're all close. Me and (Edison coach Leah Eft) work together on our youth league so we have a lot of respect for each other."

Those five seniors -- Allison McGraw, Camryn Ketron, Katie Cottis, Brooke Crites and Cambryl Caprita – all contributed in the victory.
