RICHMOND -- The Catholic Central volleyball team topped Edison on the road Thursday in a sweep, 25-13, 25-11, 25-21.
The now 10-8 Crusaders were led by nine kills, nine points and two blocks by Natalie Cherepko, 23 points, nine kills, 10 assists, five aces and two digs by Ava Marcino, 10 points, four kills and seven assists from Lilly Balzano and 12 points, three digs, three blocks and two kills from Gianna Lemal.
For Edison, which was celebrating its senior night, Alli Shrieve had three kills and two blocks, Sophia Henderson recorded six kills, five digs and five assists and Mimi Ault tallied five assists, two blocks and two kills.
