Edison girls top Wellsville

WELLSVILLE — The Edison girls basketball team’s strong start to the season continues.

The Wildcats stayed unbeaten by topping Wellsville on the road Monday evening, 55-34, to improve to 3-0.

Leading the Wildcats was Sophia Henderson with 19 points, while Abby Carpenter had 12 points.

Toronto falls to Southern

SALINEVILLE — The Toronto girls basketball team dropped a 42-33 decision on the road at Southern Local on Monday night.

Toronto was led by Tatum Derrington with 17 points, while Jayna Reeves tallied nine.
