Indian Creek's bats have big day in win at Bellaire
BELLAIRE -- The Indian Creek softball team had a big day with the bats on Saturday at Bellaire.
Creek pounded out 14 hits, five for extra bases, as they pulled away from the Big Reds for an 11-4 victory on the road.
Creek's big day was led by Purdue Fort Wayne signee McKenna Scott as she finished 4 for 4, a homer shy of the cycle with two doubles, a triple and and single and two RBIs.
Riley Sadler finished 3 for 4 with two doubles and three RBIs, while Emma Vok went 3 for 5 with a double and also plated three runs.
Olivia Hollenbeck had two hits and McKenna Puskarich had two RBIs.
In the circle, Peyton Rath struck out three and walked two in a complete game effort.
Creek travels to Wheeling Park today.

Weir falls at JM
GLEN DALE -- The Weir High baseball team dropped a 10-4 decision on the road at John Marshall on Saturday.
The Red Riders got a pair of hits from Niko Glass and two RBIs from Nick DiMatteis.
Cayden Braswell went the first four innings on the mound, striking out three.
The Red Riders visit Beaver Local today.
