Toronto volleyball comes back, improves to 2-0

TORONTO — The Toronto volleyball team is off to a good start.

After winning its season opener on Friday, the Red Knights picked up a comeback win on Saturday over Southern Local to make it a 2-0 start to their season.

The Red Knights rallied back from dropping the first two sets of the match and took the victory in five sets, winning the final three-straight.

Gracie Rex had 30 digs and an ace for Toronto, while Jayna Reeves tallked 12 kills, five digs and three aces, Josey Dickinson recorded five kills, Kylie Mitchell tallied eight kills, Chloe Fisher recorded three kills and 16 assists and JJ Rebich finished with 16 assists and an ace.

Toronto is on the road on Wednesday evening.
