Big Red sweeps Central
STEUBENVILLE — The Big Red volleyball team team’s impressive run of success continues.
Steubenville won for the 11th time in its last 13 matches on Thursday night, sweeping vising Catholic Central inside the Crimson Center on senior night.
Big Red won the match by scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-9. The win also gives Big Red a season sweep of the season series and the city championship.
Steubenville is now 11-6 on the season. Central drops to 1-16.
Big Red is back in action Monday hosting John Marshall. Central travels to River on Wednesday.
