Big Red trio named first team All-Ohio

Total of 12 Steubenville players are recognized on Division III lists

COLUMBUS — The Division II and III football All-Ohio teams were announced Wednesday by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association.

In Division III, a dozen players from Big Red were among those recognized after a 7-2 regular season and fourth-straight regional final appearance.

Selected as first team All-Ohio were running back Ca’Juan Bryant, offensive lineman Ephy Kelly and kicker Cole Bowers, all seniors.

Bryant was also the East District Offensive Player of the Year.

Linebacker Landon Crosier was a second team selection.

Earning honorable mention All-Ohio were quarterback Santino Haney, wide receiver Ziare Scurry, offensive linemen Beau Hudson and Angelo Martello, defensive lineman Ryan Bise, linebacker Nolan Blackburn and defensive backs Che’Mier Adams and Tre Wiggins.

Information used for the All-Ohio teams comes from the regular-season accomplishments and does not include playoff games. The seven districts of the OPSMA determine the all-district teams and nominate their best for the All-Ohio teams.

Today, the Division I All-Ohio team will be announced. The Division VI and VII teams were announced Monday and the Division IV and V teams were announced Tuesday.
