Butler, Barons continue strong start to season
The Franciscan University of Steubenville men’s basketball team is off to a strong start this season, sitting at 10-2 overall and 2-1 in Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) play.
Franciscan picked up a huge road victory on Wednesday night, defeating Saint Vincent College 85-72. Junior guard Sawyer Butler led the way with a spectacular 38-point performance. Butler is currently leading the nation in scoring at 28.3 points per game and ranks 9th nationally in steals. He is also the reigning PAC Player of the Week and was named one of the D3hoops.com Top 5 Players of the Week in the country.

The Barons return home next week looking to build momentum as conference play continues.
