WVU baseball cancels series with Radford
MORGANTOWN — West Virginia baseball has updated its upcoming schedule. The Mountaineers’ two-game series with Radford on March 3 and 4 has been canceled. Radford recently had one of its players pass away.
“The WVU baseball program and the WVU Department of Athletics express their condolences on the recent loss within the Radford Baseball program,” per the release.
Fans with tickets to either game can exchange them for an upcoming game of equal or lesser value.
WVU will now head to Marshall on March 4 with first pitch set for 5 p.m. instead.
The Mountaineers are 20-6 since 2013 against their in-state rival, and most recently lost the last matchup in 2025, 7-6.
