Creek’s McMillion headed to Ohio Northern

Indian Creek senior Luke McMillion recently signed to continue his academic and athletic careers at Ohio Northern University as a two-sport athlete and will play football and wrestle for the Polar Bears. McMillion, the son of David McMillion and Melissa Thompson of Wintersville, intends to play offensive/defensive line and grapple at the Division III school. He is a four-year letterman and his highlights at ICHS include grading out at 91 percent, being selected to play in both the Ohio-Penn and OVAC All-Star Games and yielding 26 solos, 20 assists, 12 TFL, nine sacks, 66 total, one interception, two PBU and 17 hurries during his senior year, plus he has earned Honorable Mention All-State, First Team Eastern District, OVAC First Team, Quad County First Team, Buckeye 8 First Team and Jefferson County First Team over the past two years. McMillion also holds a career record of 138-43 in wrestling and is a two-time OHSAA state qualifier. Additionally, he is a 2026 OVAC champion and competed in the OVAC vs. MAC All-Star match.
