Oak Glen rolls past Indian Creek
WINTERSVILLE — After having its win streak snapped over the weekend, the Oak Glen softball team bounced right back in a big way on Tuesday.
The Golden Bears overcame an early deficit, scoring the last 16 runs of the game for an 18-3 victory on the road at Indian Creek.
Oak Glen, now 13-5, blasted six homers in the game. Brayley Lash crushed two of them, also doubling and driving in four runs. Danica Holden had a solo shot, Mattie Carney and Kylie Robinson each had a homer and a two hit day, Carney also tripling, and Mikalyn Balch had a two-run shot.
Carney struck out 10 and walked just one in a complete game in the circle.
For Indian Creek (5-13), Aliyah Duke and Kylie Dray each doubled and drove in a run.
Oak Glen hosts Wheeling Park today, while Creek hosts Bellaire today.
Toronto tops Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT — The Toron to softball team plated the first three runs of the game Tuesday at Bridgport and then scored four in the top of the sixth after a Bulldogs rally to earn a 7-4 victory.
JJ Rebich cranked a homer and had two hits, Anna Wright had a triple and two RBIs and Arianna Highsmith recorded two hits and two RBIs for the Knights (9-6).
Toronto visits Madonna today.

Toronto tops Monroe Central
TORONTO — The No. 1 ranked Toronto baseball team rolled to a 9-1 victory over visiting Monroe Central Tuesday at the KBC.
Heath Thomas had three hits and three RBIs, Tanner Newbold tallied three hits and two RBIs, Lucas Wiseman had a triple and two RBIs, Gunnar Newbold tallied a double, single and an RBI and Chase Heckathorn and Michael Henry each had two hits.
Henry tossed a complete game, tallying three strikeouts and just one walk.
Toronto, now 11-3, visits Oak Glen today.
Golden Bears roll in battle of the bridge
EAST LIVERPOOL — The Oak Glen baseball team rolled to a 15-0 win on the road at cross-river rival East Liverpool on Tuesday.
The Bears (7-12) got a homer, double and three RBIs from Sam Jenkins, Kaiden Dragisich also doubled and drove in a run, Noah Willey tripled, singles and drove in two runs and James Rohbeck tallied two RBIs.
Willey tossed the first four innings and struck out five.
Oak Glen hosts Toronto today.
