Oak Glen football coach Derrick Stickles leads the team in prayer on Sunday following the death of team member Carter Pesacreta on Friday. Pesacreta, 16, died on Friday in an off-road vehicle accident. Oak Glen High School posted that Pesacreta's viewing will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Nixon Funeral Home. The funeral is set for 11 a.m. on Thursday. A benefit spaghetti diner in memory of Pesacreta will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Sept. 3 at the Chester American Legion. Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children under 12. Proceeds will go toward helping the family with expenses. A GoFundMe can be found by searching "Support for Carter Pesacreta's Family." Oak Glen's football team is slated to open the season on Thursday against Weir.
