OAK GLEN TOPS WEIR HIGH
NEW MANCHESTER – The Oak Glen girls soccer team topped rival Weir High 4-2 on Saturday.
Kendall Krzys scored two goals and had an assist to lead the Golden Bears, while Reese Withrow and Amelia Kampmeyer also scored. Bailey Watts had two assists. Camryn Richards tallied nine saves in goal.
The Red Riders got two goals from Ryann Jeter with assists from Elli Noel and Ciara Greathouse. Bella Weber made eight saves in goal.
The Red Riders host Weir High on Tuesday.

BROOKE FALLS TO BEAVER
WELLSBURG – The Brooke boys soccer team dropped a 9-1 decision to Beaver Local on Saturday.
Jacob Johnson scored a goal on an assist from Jacob High for the Bruins while Bronson Pack made 11 saves.

BIG RED PLACES AT CLAYMONT
UHRICHSVILLE – The Big Red cross country teams competed at the Claymont Early Bird Invite on Saturday, the girls placing third and boys sixth.
Individually, Gena Smith (10th), Erica Smith (13th) and Jude Kimble (15th) finished in the medals as top-25 overall individuals.
