Brooke varsity football season tickets on sale
WELLSBURG -- Season tickets for the 2026 Varsity Football Season will be available in the Athletic Office beginning Monday until Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays. The cost of the tickets is $25 per seat with seating contracts for five home games. Current season ticket holders must pick up their tickets no later than
August 14th.
In addition, preferred parking passes for current pass holders may be picked up Monday-Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost of the preferred parking pass is $35.
Brooke athletic passes for sale
WELLSBURG -- Family seasonal fall sport athletic passes are available in the athletic office. The high school pass is $60 and the middle school pass is $50 and admits an individual family (two adults and middle school and/or high school age in the same household) to all regular season home school athletic events for the respective school during the fall sports season except varsity football and WVSSAC, OVAC or PAC 8 tournament games.
Events upcoming at Chester-Newell Sportsman Club
GEORGETOWN, Pa. -- Several events are upcoming at the Chester-Newell Sportsman Club
The next monthly meeting will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. To join you must put in an application, then join at the next meeting after approval.
Aug. 8 there will be a Women on Target class, where only women may learn about firearm safety and be able to shoot various types of handguns to see if that is for them. The class will be taught by an NRA certified instructor. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. and the class starts at 9 a.m. A $45.00 fee covers all ammunition cost, lunch, T-shirt and tote bag. The next Ohio river Catfish tournament is scheduled for Aug. 15, starting at 7 p.m., paying first and second place. Sign ups are can be done at Chaney’s Sunoco in Chester. All fish must be measured at the Chester city park marina. Anyone who registered for July’s tournament which was canceled at the last minute may use last month’s entry fee to register or may request a refund. All new registrations are $10 per fisherman.
