BIG RED SWEEPS CENTRAL
STEUBENVILLE -- The Big Red volleyball team rolled to a sweep of Catholic Central on Thursday night, 25-18, 26-24, 25-22, in the first meeting between cross-town foes this season.
The victory improved Big Red to 3-2 on the season, moving them back above the .500 mark. Central drops to 2-4.
Big Red is scheduled to take on Beaver Local on Saturday, while Central hosts Lisbon on Saturday.
TORONTO STAYS UNDEFEATED
TORONTO -- The Toronto volleyball team’s undefeated start continued on Thursday as the Red Knights rolled to a sweep of visiting Lisbon, 25-17, 25-22, 25-7, to improve to 7-0.
The Knights were led by Addison Dobbs with 16 kills, an ace and seven digs, Jayna Reeves with 12 kills, five digs, two aces and a block, Kylie Mitchell with four kills, two blocks and an ace, Danielle Sutherin with 27 assists and three aces and Haley Bodnar with 12 digs, three aces and an assist.
Toronto takes on Madonna on Tuesday night.

EDISON CLAWS PANTHERS
RICHMOND -- The Edison volleyball team won it second straight match on Wednesday, defeating Buckeye Local in four sets 25-15, 28-30, 25-19, 25-17.
Kayden Sparks had six points, Liv Hanlin had 19 points, Addison Casto nine points, Aliya Glover 10 points, Taylor Westfall six points and Bailey Natcher six points.
