CREEK WINS FOURTH-STRAIGHT
WINTERSVILLE -- The Indian Creek girls soccer team continued its winning streak and got to the .500 mark, blanking visiting Union Local 8-0 on Tuesday night for their fourth-straight win.
The Redskins (5-5) got five goals from Kaydence Walker, while Carsyn Brown, Maryn Barcalow and Chloe Flesher each tallied a goal.
Creek looks to keep its winning streak going on Thursday when they host Cambridge.

OAK GLEN SWEEPS WEIR
NEW MANCHESTER -- The Oak Glen volleyball team earned a sweep of visiting county rival Weir High on Tuesday, 25-10, 25-9, 25-17.
The Golden Bears (11-5) were led by Naomi Ayers with nine kills, six aces and nine digs, Zoey Caughey with eight kills, Mattie Carney, Laikynn Eckleberry and Caetlyn Six with 3 kills each, Mikalyn Balch with 20 assists and two kills, Bryson Adams with six assists and an ace, and Keira Vick and Kendall Six with five digs each. Kendall Six also had five aces.
Oak Glen takes on University and Parkersburg South in a tri on the road on Thursday.
Weir High (4-7) visits Catholic Central next Tuesday.
