OAK GLEN FALLS TO ST. C
NEW MANCHESTER -- The Oak Glen volleyball dropped a sweep to visiting, twice beaten St. Clairsville on Wednesday, 7-25, 12-25, 18-25, in a match up of teams in position to make the OVAC tournament field.
Mikalyn Balch had eight kills and five assists, Zoey Caughey had seven kills, Laikynn Eckleberry had three kills, Bryson Adams had 17 assists and Keira Vick had 16 digs.
The Golden Bears are now 14-7 on the season and host East Palestine on Saturday.
BROOKE TOPS EDISON IN FIVE
RICHMOND -- The Brooke and Edison volleyball teams battled hard on Wednesday night, with the Bruins earning hard-fought five set win, 25-22, 25-18, 14-25, 23-25, 15-12.
Brooke is now 6-11 and visits Beaver Local tonight. Edison drops to 4-9 and travels to Harrison Central on Saturday.
