Creek sweeps Oak Glen

WINTERSVILLE — The Indian Creek volleyball team swept Oak Glen on Tuesday at home.

Leading the way for the Redskins was Carley Penner with four kills, a block, 13 assists, two digs and two aces. Gracie Francis finished with three kills, two blocks and two aces, Tori Robertson had four kills and two blocks, Olivia Wukelic seven kills, three aces and an assist and Brooke Grant eight assists.

Indian Creek is scheduled to take on East Liverpool on Thursday.

Toronto falls to Conotton Valley

TORONTO — The Red Knight volleyball team hosted Conotton Valley on Tuesday and fell in three sets, 25-23, 27-25, 25-21.

For Toronto, Ashton Thomas had 12 blocks and five kills, Hannah Dobbs had eight kills, three blocks, four aces and 11 digs, Andrea Reeves 12 assists, five blocks and 10 digs, Leah Price six blocks and three kills, Jasmine Platko 10 digs, five assists and three kills, Taylie Thomas 34 digs and Michelle Anderson 13 digs.

The Red Knights are scheduled to host Lisbon today.

Central golfs past Toronto

TORONTO — The Catholic Central golf team golfed past Toronto on Tuesday at Dyer Country Club by 22 strokes, 174-196.

Central’s Vince Barcalow and Toronto’s Ty Suffoletta were co-medalists, each shooting a five-over 41.

Also for the Crusaders, Johnny O’Karma shot a 43, Olivia Gibas a 44 and Brendan Schaefer a 46. The Red Knights were rounded out by 1 44 from Noah Karaffa, a 53 from Gunnar Blood and a 58 from Ty Fogle.
