CLARKSBURG -- The Weir High girls soccer team went on the road Saturday and shut out Robert C. Byrd, 2-0.
The Red Riders got goals from Lexie Fayak and Liv Baker, while Maddie Miralrio and Jules Glodowski each added assists.
Rayna Hoover made seven saves in net for the shutout.
Weir High, which improved to 5-7-3 with the win, is scheduled to get back on the field Monday, hosting John Marshall at Jimmy Carey Stadium.
