Weirton Police Charged: Hakim J. Kirby, 33, 57 Gullette Lane, domestic battery, Friday. Steubenville Police Badly injured: A man ended up being flown to a Pittsburgh-area hospital after he was allegedly hit in the head with a brick in a parking lot in the 100 block of North Fourth Street, Monday. When they arrived, police said a bystander was “providing aid” to the man, who was breathing but not alert. Steubenville Police Short fuse: A woman in the 3900 block of Stratford Boulevard said she got herself a glass of water, which upset her husband who began yelling at her and “poured the water over her and the dining room chair,” Friday. She said he also shoved her to the ground so she pressed the medical alarm on her cell at which point he left the residence. Police said she had no visible injuries though she complained of knee pain, but they did see water on the dining room floor. She told police she wants to pursue charges.
