It seems as though plaintiffs in a lawsuit regarding the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation in West Virginia aimed for the wrong targets, according to a ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Irene Berger. She granted motions to dismiss the class action lawsuit against Gov. Jim Justice and state Department of Homeland Security Cabinet Secretary Mark Sorsaia earlier this month. If you are a fan of high school football, Saturday will certainly serve as a preview of what’s coming during the next few weeks. Drive safely in the work zones

It’s been said frequently since the beginning of road construction season, but it bears repeating. In fact, West Virginia Transportation Secretary Jimmy Wriston said it better than anyone else could have Monday when he issued the plea, “When you go through these work zone, you have GOT to slow down.” His statement came as state officials announced a fourth worker struck this year in a state highway work zone. Trump emerged defiant from the pile of Secret Service members who rushed to protect him, but as the nation breathed a sigh of relief we learned the attack had, indeed, been deadly.
