WEIRTON — WMC Home Health has been honored as a recipient of the Strategic Healthcare Programs Best Superior Home Health Performer Award.
“What makes this especially exciting is the scores are determined by the patients themselves, based on their experience with WMC Home Health,” said Kelli McCoy, director of communications for Weirton Medical Center.
WMC Home Health earned recognition for achieving an overall score ranking in the top 20 percent of all SHP national benchmark and scoring measures in home health care in 2018. It scored above the national average on quality measures set forth by the Home Health Care Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems.
