COLLECTING: Shoe Sensation, at 4253 Mall Drive, is participating in the national chain’s Socks for Troops campaign through Dec. 31.

Visitors to the store may donate new socks to be distributed to service members through AMVETS Post 275 or purchase socks at the store, at a 20 percent discount, for donation to the cause.

Officials with Shoe Sensation said more than 80,000 pairs of socks were collected last year through the nationwide campaign.
