Auto mechanic offers variety of repair services

Warren Scott MECHANIC AT WORK — Jason Bucy of Bucy’s Auto Repair is ready to perform a variety of work on automobiles of various makes and models with the help of his fiancee, Kali Campbell. The auto shop is located at the Wellsburg Clark gasoline station at 601 Commerce St. (state Route 2.)

WELLSBURG — Jason Bucy said he’s been working on various automobiles for more than a dozen years, working initially out of the back of his truck before operating at a single-bay garage in Weirton.

Bucy said he’s happy now to have three bays at his new location adjacent to the Clark gasoline station at 601 Commerce St. (state Route 2.)

“We do everything — transmissions, lots of engine work,” said Bucy, who plans to add custom exhaust work in the near future and hopes to offer state inspections also.

“We are a small, growing shop that provides quality work at affordable prices,” he said, adding he has worked on a variety of makes and models.

A native of Virginville, a small community in the Cross Creek area of Brooke County, Bucy operates his garage with the help of his fiancee, Kali Campbell.

He said since opening, work has been steady and he hopes to add other mechanics to meet the demand.

“The community support has been fantastic,” said Bucy, who added his landlord, the owner of the gas station and adjacent CFM Express store (formerly Wayne’s Foods), has been very accommodating.
