Warren Scott A NEW LOOK — Steubenville officials joined management of the Steubenville Taco Bell and representatives of Charter Foods, its owner, for a ribbon-cutting celebrating recent renovations to the restaurant. Beadnell, general manager of the Steubenville Taco Bell; Mayor Jerry Barilla; and Stacey Winegardner, area coach for Charter Foods.

STEUBENVILLE — The Steubenville Taco Bell has a new look after undergoing major renovations that included the addition of digital menus inside and out, new signage and seating.

Stacey Winegardner, area coach for Charter Foods — owner of the Steubenville location at 2118 Sunset Blvd. — said crews have been busy repainting the building and installing new fixtures, including doors and hand dryers for the restrooms.

M.J. Beadnell, the restaurant’s general manager, noted the work was done in about a week and a half, allowing the restaurant to resume daily operations in a short time.

She noted the lobby is open from 8 a.m. to midnight seven days a week while the drive-through is available from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Beadnell said patrons can expect the same tasty Mexican-style food, including assorted breakfast items until 11 a.m., while watching for such additions as its cantina slow-roasted chicken, which is available in soft burrito or crunchy taco shells or in a bowl with assorted toppings.

Opened more than 30 years ago, the Steubenville restaurant is one of 400 Taco Bells owned by Charter Foods, which followed it with locations in Wintersville and Weirton.

They are among many restaurants of various types owned and operated in 13 states by the business, which is based in Morristown, Tenn.
