STEUBENVILLE — It’s been a couple of years of changes for the Dumbaugh and Oklok & Criss insurance agencies, but the owners of the two want everyone to know they will continue to provide their clientele with peace of mind.

Joseph Dumbaugh noted the agencies merged two years ago, bringing together expertise in a variety of insurance, including life and policies for homeowners, automobiles, boats and other vehicles, condos and renters.

In the realm of commercial insurance, the agency offers coverage for contractors, business owners and commercial buildings and vehicles, worker compensation and professional liability.

On Thursday, the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and local officials welcomed Joseph and John Dumbaugh, brothers and partners who oversee Dumbaugh, Oklok & Criss Insurance, and their staff at their new location in Suite G02 in 141 Brady Circle West.

Upon learning Oklok & Criss’ roots in the insurance field can be traced to 1868, Joseph Dumbaugh said they are proud to carry on that long tradition of service.

The Dumbaughs noted they are the third generation of a family that has enabled many people and businesses to receive insurance in the Mount Vernon area for many years.

Their father, David, noted his father established Dumbaugh Insurance in 1935, picking up where others had served before him.

The Dumbaugh, Oklok & Criss office is staffed by familiar faces: Producers Tim Walters and Debbie Hukill, commercial lines account manager Bonnie Randolph and personal lines junior account manager Taylor Goodrich.
